An evil act can be quantifiable. It can take the form of seeable actions and heard words. While being just as real and before becoming an outward action, evil can reside in forms such as hateful thoughts in the human mind.
To me, an evil work is anything and everything that brings a wave of negativity and distrust around. As Christians, we should never promote activities that could harm us either physically or mentally.

Good article! Evil being able to take the form of thoughts is an interesting concept. The secular worldview often dismisses intention and only judges actions as good/evil. Thank you for clarifying the Biblical perspective.
