You Can Still Tell Them

You do not need to be a Christian to introduce Jesus to your children.

Providing your children the opportunity to learn about Jesus and even become a Christian when you are not one is an act of open-mindedness and love that could help your children embrace a wonderful way of life that they may have never found otherwise.

Even if you are not a religious person yourself, consider teaching your children about Jesus so that they can make a more fair and balanced decision about what to believe in a time where young people do not have much natural exposure to Christianity. You can read about Christianity online or talk to a Christian friend and then teach your children what you have learned. You can also use an iPad or computer and Christian apps for children to help.

Key ideas include Jesus's teachings about love and forgiveness. You would also want to mention the human soul. God as the origin of the universe is also among the central ideas.

Providing your children the opportunity to learn about Jesus and even become a Christian when you are not one is an act of open-mindedness and love that could help your children embrace a wonderful way of life that they may never have found otherwise. They might then convince you to become a Christian when you never expected you would. It might be difficult to open oneself to trying this at the beginning, however.
