So much is often being said when a Christian mentions the name of God.

The mention of the name of God can be associated with much of a lifetime—special moments with family and friends, powerful life lessons, and encouragement and support during very difficult times.

To the Public,

If you are not a Christian or religious, we would like you to understand what is often meant when a Christian mentions the name of God.  The mention of the name of God can be associated with much of a lifetime—special moments with family and friends, powerful life lessons, and encouragement and support during very difficult times. When they say the name of God, all of that can be part of what they are talking about.

Even when a newer Christian mentions this word and name, they are often saying many things.  They are talking about a genuine sense of love.  They are talking about doing what is right by others and oneself even when it is hard. That is found in what they are talking about when they say, "We need God in our lives."

To many people, however, they may just think of a belief system they don’t share when they hear the name of God.  It isn’t necessarily that they don’t know anything about Christianity, although that can certainly be the case today, but instead that they don’t grasp very much of what a person means when they say it.  In fact, they may only think of a few negative stereotypes about Christianity they have heard others talk about when they hear the name of God.
