Through prayer, people can talk about situations in the lives. They can ask for help. They can also ask for others to be helped. For example, a person can ask Jesus to help a colleague at work who is suffering from depression. People can talk to God or ask him about any topic.

God can hear what anyone asks in prayer and does not have human prejudices that would keep him from answering an honest prayer to help someone. Anyone from the public, who with an open mind wants to know if there is a God, can try praying by addressing the creator of the universe aloud or in their mind with the request to know if he is real. God can respond to questions that are asked genuinely by directing people’s thoughts and steps toward an answer.
