What is a day in the life of a Christian like?

You do a quick search on how many students at a nearby university support a politician you really like to see if you can find people with similar values.

To The Public,

Have you wondered what the day in the life of a Christian is like?  Well, you’ve just finished an early shift at work when you decide you don't want to work under a manager anymore who is always letting customers walk all over an older female coworker.  The manager makes it seem like it is her fault she is getting mistreated, which keeps the manager out of trouble with the customers.  You decide you want to go back to college so that you can become a manager.  You also know you want to find more of a sense of community in your daily life.  So, you do a quick search on how many students at a nearby university support a politician you really like to see if you can find people with similar values.  You find it is only around 3%.

Now, you are remembering what your BA was like at one university before you transferred.  Despite all the talk of inclusivity and diversity of thought, the opinions at that school were very uniform.  You realize you would probably feel very alone at this one too. As you continue to search, it seems that many universities are the same. Then, you turn on the TV and you see a young African American girl crying that she wants her daddy back.  You feel so bad for her.  You are hearing now that her father was a police officer murdered by protesters who claimed to be challenging police brutality.

Later, you are looking at job openings for the type of job you are already doing, except in other places, and are also searching for apartments in those areas.  You notice after some more research, however, that even small studios in many places cost more than you could possibly afford based on the average full-time salary for someone with a bachelor’s degree in the same locations as the apartments.  You realize that in many places you could only afford apartments where you shared your living space and bathroom. This would greatly detract from your sense of independence and freedom.  You decide to call an agency that helps people find jobs—hoping for a little higher pay. The person on the phone at the job agency seems nice and before you realize what you are doing, you start telling them about what you’ve seen at work, experienced in school, and other things.  However, they tell you that as a liberal-minded individual, they certainly don't agree with what you have to say about many of the universities out there and they should probably just focus on finding you a new job.  That night, you say a prayer and hope, and unlike all the skeptics you have listened to who have witty criticisms of hope and prayer, you do it sincerely.
