A New Word To Describe Our Political And Social Thinking

We need a new word to describe our political and social thinking.

Through 100 years from now and onward, we want new ideas that better serve equality, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to our own private space and property.

Christians and Fellow Patriots in the US,

We need to abandon the word “conservative” to describe ourselves socially and politically without abandoning what we believe and the Republican Party.  The Republican Party is the party that ended slavery.  The term “conservative” just doesn’t fit us, however.  Many people hear “resistant to change” when they hear the word “conservative” because it is even a dictionary definition of the word when what we really want is to see a future that continues to improve upon the ideas of freedom and equality.

Through 100 years from now and onward, we want new ideas that better serve equality, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the right to our own private space and property.  We want to see new ideas that compliment those better-serving ideas as well.  That is what we believe, Christians and Fellow Patriots.

Meanwhile, “liberal-minded” thinking, which is falsely named, continually threatens equality by making some races feel less than others (making some people feel “boring,” “stupid,” or “racist” because of their skin color).  “Liberal-minded” thinking also seeks to oppress the religious.  It also espouses ideas that eat away at beliefs, laws, and other structures protecting private space and property.   None of that is liberal-minded thinking in the core, general sense of what that word is supposed to mean (as opposed to what it means as a distortive, social and political term).  “Liberal-minded” thinking is actually backward thinking under modern appearances.  Genuine liberty and equality are part of authentic liberalism, which is what we want to see more of going into the future.  Moving into the future with an authentically liberal-minded mindset should be part of the direct meaning and connotation of the word used to describe our way of thinking.  “Patriots” is a good word to describe ourselves, but we also want a word to specifically replace the word “conservative.”
