Taking Ownership

Make your identity as a Christian yours.

Then, when you talk to people about God online or in person, you will do it with more enthusiasm because your heart is more into it.

Christians, as it has been written about in other fields, take ownership. Take ownership of your identity as a Christian. Belief in it and love it as your own decision. Don't half-heartedly hold on to it only because you feel you have to--because you were raised that way.

It may be you want to remain a Christian while still recognizing that you mainly became a Christian because of how you were raised. Today, however, say to yourself that you personally want to be a Christian by your own conscious choice. Then, you truly own your identity and when you own and appreciate something, it means more to you and you take better care of it.

Then, when you talk to people about God online or in person, you will do it with more enthusiasm because your heart is more into it. You may not have felt that way when you were younger. However, that doesn't mean you can't feel that way now.
