Not only can Christian parents be Christian role models to their children but Christian sisters and brothers can also be Christian role models to each other.

Mentioning what you liked about a message in a Christian novel you were reading to a sibling you are sitting next to on the couch is a good example.

Christians,

In a Christian family, parents are often thought of as being the role models for Christian behavior.  This is good, but siblings can also be role models for each other.  For example, an older sister can be a Christian role model for a younger brother or vice versa.

As a sibling, you may not have thought of that before, but you certainly can and should be.  Even as the youngest sibling, you can humbly try to be a role model of Christian life for the oldest brother or sister.  In what ways can this happen?

Mentioning what you liked about a message in a Christian novel you were reading to a sibling you are sitting next to on the couch is a good example.  It shows your personal interest in Christianity, which may interest your brother or sister in it more.  It also encourages a sibling to feel free to talk about Christianity more openly when they see a sibling also likes to discuss it. It does need to be remembered that reactions can vary. For example, some siblings may not seem interested but still feel a little respect for what you are saying that can grow over time.
