Remember learning about the suffragists who believed that women had a right to vote? When they made some of their first public appearances to promote their cause, how did people respond? Some thought it couldn’t work while others laughed at it. What happened over time, however?

Public interest grew as the movement continued forward without surrender. Peaceful marches helped usher in support for a cause that changed the hearts and minds of those who once scoffed at it. What people said couldn’t work worked on a national and then an international scale.

For Christians to witness these results, they will need to be patient because it will take time for these events to unfold. Christians will also need to wait beneath the weight of discouraging remarks about how what they want is not feasible. However, it is feasible and it is right.
