There is a common way of thinking today that seems liberating but actually leads to an oppressive environment.

Christians,
There is a common and harmful way of thinking today that is mislabeled. This way of thinking sounds liberating on the surface but when closely analyzed or put into effect is actually oppressive. It often sounds liberating on the surface because it claims to stand against the unfairness of rules, authority figures, and institutions. Thinking that is said to oppose the unfairness of rules and authority is generally referred to as liberalism, but the thinking referred to here also and mainly stands against the positive rules, authority figures, and institutions that protect people and their freedom through an intolerance for formal rules and authority that casts even the good in an unfair light. This is why it shouldn’t be called liberalism.
What is often seen today is a modern form of oppressive thinking, and it should be given a name that reflects what it is. This is to keep people from being misled. Here, the term kaino-oppressive thinking is being coined and used to describe it. Kainos means new in ancient Greek and terms often have Greek or Latin roots.
The general idea of the word liberalism doesn’t fit the type of thinking described here and commonly seen in society today, so it leaves people with the wrong impression of what is going on. Also, the term kaino-oppressive is not being coined specifically as a political term, so it can be used both outside and inside of politics, which allows it to be used more versatilely. It should be noted that many people today who identify as politically “liberal” espouse kaino-oppressive thinking, but even people who don’t consider themselves to be political can espouse ideas that are clearly kaino-oppressive.
