Our Freedom In The Public

Christians, many people find talk of God to be odd because they rarely hear anyone talk about him in the public.


What do you think would happen if you mentioned God at work, even in a general way?

How free do our Children feel to talk about God in public high schools? Do they feel they will be criticized or laughed at by their classmates? Will teachers side against them as well? What do you think would happen if you mentioned God at work, even in a general way? Would you find puzzled looks on the faces of your colleagues?


The fact that a negative consequence is expected speaks to the state of Christianity in mainstream society. Many people in the public either find it odd to hear about Christianity or they feel antagonistic toward it. We do not want to look at these people as an enemy though. In fact, many of them could be some of the most profound lovers of Christ if someone reached out to them.


Christians, many people find talk of God to be odd because they rarely hear anyone talk about him in the public. Many others feel antagonistic toward God because they have never genuinely known him, and what they have heard about him was false. We need to start talking about God openly again for our sakes and for the good of others.
