Into A Cold Prison

The "forward-thinking" people who berate Christians in public are not unlike the people who would have had you dragged from your homes and imprisoned in other times and places.

They certainly would have considered themselves to be doing what was right as well in a social and moral sense.

The people in the US who bash America with trash-talk and berate Christians for expressing their beliefs in public often consider themselves to be the open-minded ones, and they also often claim the moral high ground.  However, don’t they have the same mindset as people who would have ordered, or supported an order, for us to be dragged from our homes and thrown in prison in other times and places for thinking differently than them?  Consider the type of person who hates a country that supports freedom of speech and religion and becomes red-in-the-face with anger when a Christian speaks in public—what do you think they would have done in another time and place where they could have told authorities inimical to Christians that they had found one? 

They certainly would have considered themselves to be doing what was right as well in a social and moral sense.  Don’t be fooled, Christians.  The people who claim to be open-minded and forward-thinking in their critiques of America and Christianity are not being open-minded and forward-thinking. 

They’re thinking is just like the thinking that would have landed you in a cold, miserable prison in other times and places.  You are the open-minded and forward-thinking ones in the true sense of those words, Christians—you who support freedom-loving countries and the right of people to speak and worship freely.
