Prayer can take many forms and can do the impossible.
However, a person shouldn't think that they can justify a decision because they prayed about it when they don't genuinely feel that God is leading them in that direction.
It has been said before that a person shouldn't try to use prayer the wrong way. For example, a person may say to themselves that they are praying and prayer is good, so what they want to do is probably okay. Prayer shouldn't be used as a justification for choosing a path that one knows in the back of their thinking is probably not okay.
However, it is still good to pray for what seems impossible. It is good to pray for what you may be shy to talk to other people about as well. It is also good to pray for what the people around you might not understand. God can also lead people in unexpected directions and in ways that are little understood through prayer.
Prayer is also open to many forms. A person can open their heart fully when they pray as well. However, a person shouldn't think that they can justify a decision because they prayed about it when they don't genuinely feel that God is leading them in that direction.
