Would it make sense for it to be okay to treat people as unequal 70 years from now?
For Christians to keep their faith in modern times, they will need to bear in mind that certain ideas should not keep changing, even if they can be continually developed. Christians today can wonder if the core messages of Christ are out-of-date in relation to modern thinking. However, the idea that a human being should treat another human being the way they would want to be treated cannot become outdated in its truth.
A Christian can realize the worth of the Golden Rule simply by thinking about why they would want people to treat them a certain way; it is a self-evident truth. It is also timeless. Would it make sense for it to be okay to treat people as unequal 70 years from now?
I think a major surprise and deviation of thought in modern times will be talk that some ideas are final. It has been popular to talk about how everything is always in a flux. However, true insight will recognize that some ideas are final.
I feel like we should just stick to everything that makes us a true christian and in the next 70 years, we will see a radical change for the good in Christianity and its practice.
Being a Christian in the future can be difficult. There are many opinions about what it means to be a Christian today, and this will only increase as time goes on. The most important thing for Christians is to stay true to their beliefs and not let other people dictate how they should live their lives.
