God's existence cannot be based on whether or not people believe in him, or he would be both real and unreal.
Christians believe that God is a God of love and that he loves all people.
If there is a God who is the source of the universe, he is also the source of every person. The creator of the universe could not be the creator of some people and not others. If there is a God, he is even the source of life of those who do not believe in him.
His existence also cannot be based on whether or not people believe in him, or he would be both real and unreal. If a girl in India believes in God while a girl on the other side of the world does not, that cannot make God both real and unreal. However, what evidence is there that God is real and what can be known about him?
Christians believe that God is a God of love and that he loves all people. This belief is based on the life and teachings of Jesus, who loved everyone and not only taught people he was God but also showed evidence of it by healing many blind and crippled people before large crowds of spectators. Evidence such as these events has pointed to God as a loving being who loves every person. Understanding this belief in God, the reasoning behind it, and its relevance to all people will help the public see why Christianity should once more become a regular topic of discussion in the public square.
I relate to this with what Jesus said to Thomas. "because thou has seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."
I think it is unfortunate that people sometimes perceive God as a judge and an entity to be feared, however, I agree that if more people are able to comprehend that God is an entity of love Christianity has the potential to become a relevant and regularly discussed topic in the public square. In 1 John 4:8 it is written that "Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love".
Agreed, God can act as a symbol of kindness, compassion, and love. People embody Jesus’s teachings into their everyday lives not to be perfect, but to feel closer to Him.
I believe the existence of God is within our actions. It is us who determine whether he is with us or not. It is our own opinion that creates this segregation. I totally agree with what Paul is saying..
