Some people have seen Christianity as a way of ignoring reality to enjoy wishful thinking.
Christians know that profound truth and love is found in treating people the way Jesus did, even when it makes life challenging. Christians live life at times in its starkest reality for the sake of love and truth.
Some have looked at Christianity as ignorant bliss. They have seen it as a way of ignoring reality to enjoy wishful thinking. Is this what the public should think? How does this idea practically relate to the life of a Christian? A Christian is expected to live life in an unselfish way that is focused more on the interests of others than their own. This belief can make Christians happy on one level while still making their lives quite difficult on another. This kind of life is the opposite of one spent on superficial pleasures that bring little in the way of deeper psychological fulfillment.
Many Christians will tell you they believe in giving up much in life to do what is right even without hard proof that they will go to heaven. It can hardly be said that they ignore the difficulties of real life when they purposely live life in a challenging way.
Christians hope in heaven without trying to escape the immediate reality of this life. Christians know that profound truth and love is found in treating people the way Jesus did, even when it makes life challenging. Christians live life at times in its starkest reality for the sake of love and truth.
The only way to do good in this world is by being a good person. And Christianity teaches us this thing as a moral for everything. I totally agree with you. If you don't choose the easy way of following the God's teaching, you will be in difficulties. PERIOD.
I 100% agree with everything I read here! Jesus has always been right. We have to follow in the footsteps of Jesus. Love is only found by treating people in the best way possible and being kind to others.
